For a three-phase supply, the plant connection must be configured as three-phase; that is, it must be connected using a three-phase inverter and a three-phase production metering device (Meter 1), even when installing a plant with a capacity of ≤5 kW.
As an exception, for three-phase supplies serving a group of consumers in close proximity, such as supplies belonging to the same apartment building, single-phase configurations of production plants may also be accepted, provided that the group’s total capacity is distributed symmetrically across the three phases of the Grid.
