Terms of Use

A. The Company

The company named SOLAR HOME I.K.E. and trading under the name “SOLAR ΗΟΜΕ” (hereinafter “the Company”), with its registered office in the Municipality of Athens, at 23 Spefsippou Street, with Tax Identification Number 801966980 / D’ ATHENS Tax Office and General Commercial Registry No. 167214101000, email info@solar-home.gr and contact telephone +302110156537 which has been legally established and operates under Greek law, aims to develop, market and install photovoltaic systems in Greece.

The Company designs, markets and installs photovoltaic systems for homeowners and businesses who enter their personal details (contact details, address, etc.), information about their property, as well as their energy needs, in the designated form on the Company's website in order to receive financial and technical studies and offers and, if they so wish, proceed with a contract for the supply, installation and activation of a photovoltaic system at their property.

B. Definitions:

  • Users - Property Owners:
    In relation to use of the website, users are property owners who use the website to enter all the information required to receive a financial and technical offer from the Company.

  • Database:
    A database is a collection of information about properties entered by users-property owners, together with information about their owners, arranged in a systematic or methodical way.

C. Purpose:

These terms govern the relationship between Users and the Company with regard to the use and operation of the website, as well as the rules governing it.

D. General Registration Requirements:

Adults with legal capacity to enter into transactions, as well as legal entities, are entitled to register as Users.

Anyone wishing to register as a User – Property Owner must own, possess, co-own, or hold usufruct rights to a property within the territory of Greece. Valid registration of the User – Property Owner on the website is a prerequisite for submitting the property for assessment. To register, the User – Property Owner completes the designated pre-formulated registration form, available under “Free Quote” and “Calculate your savings”. In addition, the User – Property Owner may, if they wish, send photos of the property or other related documents by email.

The minimum information required to register a User – Property Owner, which the Company may change without notice, is as follows:

  • Full name

  • Active email address, telephone number,

  • Property details (address, property type – detached house, apartment, commercial premises, annual electricity consumption, etc.)

The Company reserves the right to delete without notice any property that does not have the characteristics specified when it was submitted to the Database.

Registration of the User – Property Owner is free of charge.

All Users actively accept these terms after carefully reading and understanding them. In addition, Users must promptly notify the Company of any changes to the above information and ensure that it remains accurate, complete, and truthful at all times. The capacity to enter into legal transactions is a prerequisite for each valid submission.

E. Amendment of the Terms:

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms unilaterally where there is a significant reason to do so. Users will always have access to the Terms, and are advised to check them frequently for any changes.

F. Intellectual Property Rights:

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the website, the content and information provided through the website, including, by way of example, texts, graphics, photographs, designs, illustrations, distinctive signs, databases, and any files on the website in general, are the intellectual property of the Company and are protected by the relevant provisions of Greek law, European Union law, and international conventions. Users of the website may not republish, distribute, reproduce, transmit, modify, or transfer the above to a computer by any electronic or other means or method, or for any reason, without the Company's permission.

G. Right of Withdrawal:

The User – Property Owner reserves the right to withdraw and remove their registered property without having to provide a reason for doing so.

H. Disclaimer of Liability:

The information contained in the Database is for informational purposes. The Company may, but is under no obligation to, monitor, review, or process content submitted by Users – Property Owners.

I. Force Majeure:

The Company shall not be liable for any delays in assessing and submitting a techno-economic offer for the photovoltaic system of a property where such delays are due to force majeure. Examples include strikes, terrorist acts, extreme natural phenomena, epidemics, pandemics, government or legislative acts, etc.

J. Governing Law:

These Terms of Use are governed by Greek law. In the event of a disagreement, the parties shall make every effort to resolve it amicably. Otherwise, the courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction.
